The information contained on this website is to help you before you arrive here in Limassol, by giving you an overview of Limassol and the surrounding region including the Troodos mountains (places to visit, things to do, events that will take place whilst you're here, facilities and services available to you) as well as the chance to ask all those questions that only someone who lives here can answer (click on link below). The website is updated regularly, so don't forget to bookmark it in order to find out what's happenin' in Limassol during your stay, and from August 2006, the new FAQ page should be able to answer many of those popular questions that everyone wants to know!

But before we continue, let me introduce myself: my name is Tracy and I'm here to help you discover what a wonderful place Limassol, Cyprus really is! I am the author and publisher of the "What's Happenin'!" magazine - a free holiday guide to the Limassol region. I have worked in the tourist industry for 7years (tourist representative, travel agency, running excursions) and now work as a freelance journalist for publications including the "Time Out", "Time Out Visitor's Guide" and "Odyssey" magazines as well as local newspapers.  I am married to a Greek-Cypriot, have lived in Cyprus for 10 years now, and speak the local lingo which is Greek, so feel that I am amply qualified to help. This year we had our first baby girl, Agnes Sophia, so I will be including information especially for babies and young toddlers over the next few months.

The information contained within the "What's Happenin'!" magazine is designed to help you whilst you're on holidays here in Limassol so includes maps and bus timetables, useful telephone numbers, beaches, club meetings (Rotary, Bridge, Lions etc...), recommendations to nice places to eat and drink, popular tourist sites, out-of-the-way places that I have discovered over the years...and much, much more!

The "What's Happenin'!" magazine is a free annual publication and can be found in most hotels and apartment complexes, shops, restaurants and bars and particularly at the Cyprus Tourism Organisation information offices (situated next to Dassoudi Beach on the seafront road and at the Continental Hotel).
